Capitalism

There is an enormous amount of Data available debating, dissertating, written about etc. pitting the concept of Capitalism against the concept of Socialism.  None of this data can claim any victory or determine right from wrong or the like.  This ‘SR’ Essential is not about Socialism (which is covered in the ‘SR’ Essentials below) but about Capitalism.  Generally, it is defended that Capitalism is responsible for the individual’s prosperity and (material) well being.  And that is a fact, but it is not clear how that can be argued by anyone.  In a Capitalistic society the upper echelon of people earn their wealth by deriving it from its populace.  When the upper echelon can not derive their wealth from a huge number of people, or their people live in poverty or are not well off, their ability to collect wealth from the people is very limited.  Their ability to gain the huge sums of money that the upper class possesses is indeed based upon having a large group of people and that this large group of people have a large income and large material possessions (The American Dream).  Every penny spent by everyone generates income for the upper echelon by them just collecting this money.  Collecting 1 dollar from 100 million people does not hurt the individual giving that dollar. (?).  The individual collecting that dollar from the 100 million dollars has now made 100 million dollars.  Here we have the creation of the gap between the so-called haves and so called have nots.  Thus, the injustice of Capitalism for the masses is self evident.

Much Love, Founder.
